Tweet sent on ipad shows as sent via iphone

Hello!

As the title says when I send a tweet on iPad it says that it's sent via iPhone. I've tried to delete and reinstall the twitter app on ipad, I've also tried to revert to factory setting, but stll doesn't work properly.

This issue started when I've upgraded to iOS 5.

If anoyone has an idea of the problem I'll apprecite the help!

Yeah. I have both of them.

iPad - iOS5
iPhone - 3.1

Is the app you're using on the iPad iOS5 compliant? I wonder if it's not been 'updated' yet for iOS5...

The app I am using is the original twitter app.

OK - then you'll see in the App Store that it's not been updated for iOS5 yet.

Im using twitter app ver 3.5.0 and having the exact problem since upgrading to os 5, anyone knows why this happened?

Even tough twitter update with ver 3.5.1, but still nothing change from "twitter for iphone" to "twitter for ipad". What do u think guys?

I played around a bit, even to deleting the accounts on both my iPhone and iPad, then going to the website, settings, Applications, and revoking access to both devices. I added the iPad back first and tested. It says Twitter for iPhone.

Since there are no other settings to be found I'm of the opinion it is either built into the app, or part of the Application authorization process at the site. We can't change it, so I hope people have been giving Twitter feedback on the issue.

I also tried to write to Twitter but no luck. They replied that they will report it to the progtammers..
Well I hope they'll fix it soon.

Anyone else tried to report the issue to Twitter?
