Transferring Apps to New Device

My iPad was messing up, something with the battery. So Apple is sending me a new one. I should have it today (I Hope). What I am needing to know is, will I be able to transfer my apps that I bought on my older iPad to my new one. I'm really hoping I don't have to buy all my paid apps back. There was some apps I could not back up because of my iPad messing up, will I be able to get them back too??

Anytime you goto the app store and try to redownload an app it will tell you that you have already paid and you can download it again.
