Hello all,

New member....just subscribed a few minutes ago....

Found iPadForums while researching Java question, and found answer quickly - thanks to all...

Have another question, but have not been able to find any info yet:

Bought new iMac computer to replace Windows PC. When I connect to iTunes, can't seem to find an option that would let me backup iPad and its existing apps to new iMac.

So what I would like to do is transfer my iPad's apps over to the new iMac.

I greatly appreciate any help the iPadForums can give me.

Thanks,
Lamont

Skipping past the thread hijack (I'll deal with this later), you need to authorize your new computer with your AppleID.

This should enable you to download all of your purchased apps directly onto the new computer.

Please note, I haven't done this myself, not being fortunate enough to have your iMac problem (yet).

You'll find Authorize This Computer in iTunes' Store tab.

If this doesn't work automatically, give a shout and I'll put a bit more into it when I'm in front of my computer.
