Here's another tip for you all to try. For those who don't know already. If you save a webpage that you use a lot as a bookmark in safari, save it to bookmarks bar (under bookmarks tab) this will place a permanent link to the top of the safari page.

Sorry, I'm being a bit thick with this one. If I've already saved it as a bookmark, why is it better to save it to the bookmarks bar? Where exactly would the permanent link be? I don't use bookmarks much so am not that familiar with it. Thanks.

The Bookmark Bar is a quick list of links that show up at the top of Safari, just under the URL and search fields. It's a good place for links you use a lot; just one tap away.

I love the bookmarks bar. I've got lots of bookmarks squished on mine in shorthand. I wish we could add a second row of them.

Thanks for the great picture, very informative. I actually don't have that extra bar. It does not show up. I do only have on item in the bookmark bar, so maybe it appears when there are more.

Noob here...made through all 91 pages...read the flick tip and kill app tip about a hundred times...lol. However, I know way more about my pad than I did a few weeks ago...

I'm trying to get the pagezipper tip working...could someone in the know elaborate this setup?

I've used that page zipper and it works well.
I just set it as a bookmark, goto eBay, do a search then hit that page zipper bookmark you saved then scroll down the page and you will notice a green arrow appear at the top of the screen, which shows the next page has been loaded so you can just scroll.
When you set it as a bookmark, it will save the JavaScript code as your bookmark which should not divert you away from eBay when it is pressed.
Also save it to your 'bookmarks bar' folder and it will appear as a link at the top of safari to use again and again.
Hope this helps let me know if you need anymore help.

Oh my! How did I miss this PageZipper bookmarklet?! What an awesome (and convenient little tweak). My thanks to all for bringing it back to light [in this thread].

It works great and so much more convenient than always pressing the "Next Page" button. I've added it to the bookmarklet sticky over in the FAQ section.
