I just want to make sure that I understand correctly. This jailbreak is for the people who bought an iPad with 3.2.2 and couldn't jailbreak any other way. I'm on 3.2.1JB and therefore I don't see any benifit from this new JB. Am I correct? or am I missing something?

No luck here, I think we tried everything possible - I'm guessing this is a software bug. Did anyone notify Geohot about this problem already?

Still not working here. Tried it on Windows 7 64 and 32 bit. It goes into DFU and says exploiting, but then it shows the apple logo instead of the limera1n one, then goes back onto the USB + itunes image.

For those of you who can't get it to work, the key is to have iTunes open and running before you run limera1n. Also, make sure you reboot the iPad once after jailbreaking.

We tried all. iTunes running, iTunes not running, iTunes reinstalled etc. I don't think this is a solution of how to use the jailbreak but I think the jailbreak is broken.

I notified Geohot on Facebook about this but I don't know if he will read, if someone has better connections with him please notify him of these problems.

The first three times I tried it, it didn't work. Then I tried it with iTunes running, and it worked.

I'm on Windows 7 by the way, with a 64 GB Wifi iPad running 3.2.2

It's not a bug. If iTunes is open and you follow the directions, it works. I think some people aren't doing the DFU sequence correctly. When it tells you to release the power button, you have to keep the home button pressed. If you are getting the iTunes connect logo, it's because the home button was released prematurely.

Okay well we aren't stupid, I hold the home button for the whole sequence once and still nothing. It's a software bug, no doubt about it.

Tried both of these and it didn't help. Tried BETA2 to BETA4 of limera1n.

Not saying anyone is stupid

But I followed the instructions and it worked for me. And I think many other people have jailbroken their iPads with Limera1n as well.

I bet that Geohot will release a more user-friendly version soon...

Confirmation from me on Win 7 32&64bit on ios 3.2.2 with Beta 4.

Cydia OK

No luck with newer ios versions then 3.2.2

It must be a bug because i have the same problem and tried everything possible... 4 different computer, with/without Itunes, reinstall Itunes, restore Ipad, reinstall driver...
The device goes into DFU Mode but then before the jb says exploiting it suddendly switches to recovery mode thats why it's not working

I've still been trying to jailbreak... iPad NEVER shows any signs of Jailbreak.. Just kicks out of DFU into recovery mode... I'm getting a bit frustrated... I'm on Win 7 64bit...
