Soon to be iPad 3G owner

About a week away from getting my 3G model, but have found this forum to be a valuable source of information, observations and ideas regarding the iPad. I'm a long-time gadget freak, a retired firefighter and PR guy, now an independent distributor of promotional products, etc. The iPad should be a great tool for client meetings and product display....ok, I'll admit it,... it looks like a whole lot of fun too! Hope to learn more here, and offer what I can as I gain experience with the new iPad and apps.

Welcome Rick, good to have you here. Sure, you can use your iPad for work stuff, but it functions best as a goof off on the couch tool.
