song as facetime alert.ringer

ok, I have done this on my one daughters ipod touch but cant remember how i did it, or find the link that explained how to do it
I have downloaded a song from itunes and would like it as the alert/ringtone for facetime on my other daughters ipad 4.
it was done with out any kind of app on the ipod, it was in settings or something, but as I say I cant remember.
does anyone know how to do it on the ipadn?

I believe you can change the FaceTime ringtone in your Contacts app. Once you're in Contacts and at the person's page, select "Edit." Then, scroll down until you see the line titled "ringtone." When you press it, you'll then get the opportunity to select which ringtone you want.

I say "I believe" because I've not used FaceTime - but since the iPad really doesn't have a ringer (not a phone, I can only assume that the ringtone in the Contacts app is for FaceTime.
