Help! I need somebody! Oh sorry, was singing there...

I have the 1st version iPad. I have watched movies, played videos and listened to music via my tv. Today I am trying to figure out how to show websites and PDF's via the tv for a presentation. Is there an app out there? Is there a way to accomplish it? My husband needs to use the iPad on Wednesday morning...stupid me assumed...yea, I know what assume means...lol.

Anyway, if you know of an app or trick that will make this work that would be awesome.

Thank you in advance!

With iOS 4.3.3, you can view movies and videos and such with an iPad1 using the HDMI cable or other cable set ups Apple has invented.

However, right now, the only way I know of to mirror what an iPad screen is showing (e.g. web pages, documents, etc.) is if you jail break it and use the cable(s) to hook it to a TV/monitor. You'd also need one of a couple of apps available in Cydia or to modify one of the iPad's system files.

Supposedly, with iOS5 coming this fall, we'll be able to wirelessly mirror everything the stock iPad can show. But, that's this fall...

So, short answer: No can do without jail breaking. Sorry.

Thanks so much! I don't love the answer but at least I won't beat my head up against a brick wall. We will survive. I still love my iPad!
