Remote connectivity apps

Hi all:

I need To find a reliable app that will allow me to remotely connect to a server that is hosting a virtual private server. I would also like to remote in to my Mac so that I can access and run any applications either Mac or windows.

Any suggestions?

Many are available. I personally use itap RDP and am very happy with it.

The iPad has its own VPN client available under settings/network and works flawlessly with our Cisco concentrator.

Jump Desktop. It's a bit pricey, but you can connect via RDP or VNC. No need for a VPN connection, you just need to install a piece of clien software on each machine that you want to connect to.

I'm not a fan of anything that requires client installation on the end computers.
there are tons of them, I forget what that good one was that did both windows and vnc...

I use WinAdmin iPad Edition for connecting to windows machines.

Also look at TIOD. I just tried lasy night and it worked flawlessly on my home network.
