Quick Question about iPad Setup

Hey there, i'm brand new here and I haven't got my iPad yet, its meant to be arriving on Tuesday but basically what I wanted to find out about was do you have to have a Mac to begin using the iPad, or can I just do it via the iTunes on my Windows laptop?

So basically is it possible to have an iPad and set it up and charge it all through my Windows laptop?

Hi there and welcome.

You don't need a mac, a windows computer with the latest iTunes is fine to set up your iPad. If your iPad is new it should come with some charge in it and your laptop should trickle charge it, once set up you should plug it into the charger that comes with the iPad to fully charge it but you can use it whilst it is charging.

Look forward to using the forums more, been having a butchers round the topics already just wasn't sure what to search to find the answer I wanted.
