I just bought an iPad mini! Had to walk around Seattle before finding a store that actually had one in stock, but I have it and I'm tickled pink! This thing is beautiful!

Congratulations. I love mine too.

Are you going to let yours go naked or will you case / sleeve it?

Hmm.. hard to say. I bought this primarily for reading ebooks and watching videos so it likely won't ever leave the house. If it does I'll definitely buy a case for it first.

I have an iPhone 4S and an iPod (4th gen), so this iPad may never see the outdoors - my iPhone 4S goes everywhere with me and its the workhorse.

OMG! I love this thing. Just realized it has the new Lightening connector instead of the big one, I'll have to buy some accessories but that's ok.

This is definitely going to come in handy for books and videos.

Now I need to spend some time in the tips and tricks thread.

That's how they made room for stereo speakers.

Ah, that was a smart move. I like this new connector better because you don't have to worry about which way it's inserted.

Love the five-finger-pinch-to-home. It seems Apple thought of everything.

Yes, the lighting connector is a big, big plus in terms of everyday use of a device. Everyone should get to enjoy it.

Hey, nice! I also need to see if the Apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse work with this device.. I could end up with a mini netbook :)

I just realized you can split the keyboard, found it accidentally. This thing keeps impressing me, I'm already getting better at thumb typing without having to look at the keyboard at all.

The BT keyboard works; the mouse doesn't. There is a way of doing it, but it involves jailbreaking.

Also, using the split keyboard, if you touch the screen off the edge of the split, you can access the 3 keys from the other part, so touching the screen to the right of the T key will give you a Y.

I love my iPad mini. The device is so elegant in so many ways... I have a white/sliver mini and it runs so smooth and quality pops out at me while I play games, search the web, and other things (NO RETINA DISPLAY). Go Buy one!!!! WORTH IT.
