Printer Problems. PLease Help!!

I have an Apple I pad 2, a Motorola SB5101 Serf Board Cable Modem, an Apple Airport Express, an Apple Airport Extreme, and a new Brother HL-2270DW monochrome printer. But I do not have an Internet connection in my home via a PC or a Mac. I do not have a router although I believe either of my Airport devices serves as a router when the printer is connected to it. Yet I cannot get the Printer to work.

Could someone please tell me what to do?
