Looks North American, west coast. I'd say Ketchican, Ak, but I can't find a dock in Google Earth that matches.

That would fit your end of a dirt road location, since there really is only one paved road in Ketchican (that I can remember from my last-short visit several years ago). And they always have plenty of cruise ships in season.

Anyway, my guess wold be along those lines, either in Alaska or Canada.

Me and my little buddy Mali...we were lounging in the bed one lazy Sunday morning and I was playing with the iPad camera. Must've grazed the shutter button when I dozed off again. Remains one of my fave pics to date.

Yu hik tat's bad - you should see the qualityof the photos on mine - so bad I'm not even going to post anythng - well nothing to post, as I'v had to dele every photo I ever took, as the qualityis so diabolical
