Photos from connection kit

Another photo question, sorry!
So, got the camera connection kit and used it today - GREAT!
BUT, they go into a photo album "imported". How to get them organized into your other folders? Do I still need to download them from the camera
into the "mother ship", organize them, and THEN re-sync the ipad?
Seems like there should be an easier way since they are now already on the ipad in the photo area...
Apple website says that when you sync the ipad the newly imported photos from the camera connection kit will automatically be added to the
photo area in your pc or mac. Didn't see that at all.

Yeah, the whole photo organizing thing on the ipad is basically a lose.

You can't do anything but look at them - pretty lame actually.

They should also get created under 'Events', normally by date (depending on the camera, etc.). Also, while you can't organize the photos imported, you can edit them (if you have editing software), etc.
