Hello guys, i have huge pdf files to read, like 600 mb up, and i would like to know if i can open this file in iBooks and GoodReader without duplicate it on iPad.
When I add the file to library it stay available to iBooks, but if I want to open it with GoodReader I have to syncronize it again (the file duplicate on iPad, right?) in GoodReader.
There is a way to make this file available for both apps?
Please, help.
Thanks.

Nope. iOS segments data for each app. It is part of their security measures and is under most conditions a welcome protection. Right up till the condition you have asked about. Now a lot of apps can share data thru DropBox but at present iBooks doesn't support DropBox.

Thank you Skull One.
Not even with Jailbreak is it possible?
This is an absurd because with Android devices you can just put the file in a directory and open it with any pdf reader.

The iPad doesn't have a centralised file storage area. If you open a file with a different app, you are effectively copying it to that apps address space. It takes some getting used to, but that's just how iOS works.

It's not absurd. It's a small inconvenience in return for total immunity from viruses.
