Is there an app to directly edit a pdf document?
Had a look on app store and here on forums to find out. No luck so far.

There are a lot of apps to edit PDF documents - depending on exactly what you want to do. Do you want to free-hand write on it, or type on it or add pictures and stuff to it?

The answers to those questions will help us help you in determining if you want relatively simple (read: inexpensive/free) apps such as Goodreader or big workhorses such as iAnnotate.
