Orientation lock question

Hi I have a iPad 3 with iOS 7.0.3 on it. My orientation is on lock but have one app called textnow 5 that keeps rotating around I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but can not keep it from rotating. Can anyone please tell me how to stop this from rotating? Thank you

Turn off rotation lock, then on again. Maybe this will keep the app from rotating afterwards.
Also: reset your device (press and hold Home and Power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, then release both and let the iPad start on it's own).

Hi J.A. I did what you told me to but it did not work. I just wish there was a texting app free or paid that would let you keep your old texting number. Because all of people that a text with have the textnow number app. Thank you
