Not receiving all emails on ipad 2

Sporadic reception of emails on ipad 2. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't.
I checked all the settings and think I have them correct. I googled the problem and followed the directions on the PC.
Anybody know what I'm missing?

You might have to delete your email account from the mail settings then add it again, but I'm not sure if that'll work. It's always worth a try, though.
