Email and iPad2

Receiving email on my iPad2 is considerably later than on the PC and an android phone.

By later it ranges from 5 minutes to sometimes 10 or more minutes from the time the PC gets it

Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

To be clear, This happens even when manually checked so it's not an issue of the frequency the iPad is told to check for email.

So when the email has arrived elsewhere a manual check still does not receive the email.

Who is your email provider, and do you sue the same email setings on all devices/computers?

For instance, if you are using one type of server, say IMAP for one and a different one for the others, say Exchange, these involve different servers, and might account for the difference.

Other than that I have no idea.
