I was thinking the same thing , also as Deckyon said, it can harm your iPad's circuits or electrical wires if the Voltage is too high for its capacity. That is why they give you a charger with the ipad to avoid all of these issues, ins't it?

Not to hijack but Sweet did you never get the zaggmate? I think you'd like it, then you can get a pretty sleeve to carry the ipad around in!
