i've just bought an ipad 1 3g brand new, and out of the box it has the 4.2.1. software and firmware 7.10.00, i want to jailbreak but i don't know if it's like iphone and i must be careful about firmware version or it's like an ipod and there's no problem about that, i've found a redsnow 9.10b4 method for ios 5.0.1 but i don't know if i must update from itunes or use another way to preserve my baseband. Please help because in google tere are a lot of ipad 2 links but not for ipad 1.
