Newbie on ipad 2, problem on email setup

I there,
I'm new in here and new on using ipad.
Could someone help me on setting the email on ipad?
I wish to setup my yahoo & gmail in this ipad.

I use gmail's app for my gmail. And for yahoo (and I guess for gmail too) you can access it with Safari. You can put a icon on your home page by tapping the box with the arrow when you are on the yahoo mail page and choosing "add to home screen".
This is my method. I'm sure other experts will tell you how to use apple's mail or other mail programs.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account. Choose your account type and fill out your account information. Email and password must be correct. Name is what appears in the header of emails you send. Description is how the account looks in the mail app.

Alternately, you can add your Gmail account as an exchange account. Here's a link to that method.

I had try to use the regular method but it appears that i stuck on imap @ pop setup.
On exchange method, it always requesting password for exchange which i dont have any.

Only GMail can use the Exchange setup method. You have to use the default Yahoo setup for Yahoo. There is no reason for you to be using POP at all. Not for those two accounts.

Your exchange password is the same as your Gmail password. Your user name is your GMail address.

Hi guys,
Finally i manage to set up my email account in my ipad
The key point of this was the user name
It need to be same with inside of our name in email account
Thankfully i'm not master reset this ipad
LOL!

Now i found out that i cant use email using university wi fi
But i can use my email on public such as McDonald's
Is there any helps @ tips about this issue?

You should talk to the university IT staff. If you are having problems, others probably have too. Hopefully they will know what is going on. Universities often have special setups to prevent abuse of their network, and of course that sometimes causes problems.
