Greetings,

I have only had my Ipad 2 for a month. So far things are great. I have Itunes installed on my computer. Two days ago a message popped up that said a Safari update was available and click to down load it. I did. It is now on my desktop. How do I get it on my Ipad 2? This is very confusing.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There is also a Safari browser for desktops. Any update for Safari that you recieved on the computer would be for that version.

Safari on the iPad only recieves updates as part of updates for the entire devece. You will never see an update specifically for Safari on the iPad.

Yes.

Your computer and iPad use 2 different and separate software programmes and updates. Both aren't related. Both come out separately and have no relevance on the other. You'll always be notified separately when both need updating.
