Hi to all,

My name is Cory. I joined this group, as I've trolled around in the past, and have really liked the enthusiasm and sheer passion for Apple products, particularly the iPhone and iPad product lines. Having gotten my first iPad over a year ago, I was quickly bitten by the bug, and have grown to love the iPhone/iPad products as well. Surprisingly, I'm still learning ALOT about each of them. I currently own an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4S. My wife got my 1st GEN iPad, and loves it!

Anyway, I'm always learning new ways to use my iPad/iPhone, new apps are coming out on a daily basis, and I guess I'm just completely consumed (in a good way). That being said, I'm always looking for advice on how to do a variety of things, so I hope you all don't mind if I pick your brain.

A little about me... If you haven't guessed by my user name, I am a Critical Care Paramedic, with 22 years experience. I've been involved in the education and training aspect of EMS, and have had the privilege of serving with some of the very best EMTs and Paramedics in the profession. My wife, who is also an EMT, and I have worked together sporadically over the years, and I must say that she is one of the best EMTs out there. I'm blessed to be able to share my passion with the passion in my life.

So that's all I got. I look forward to talking to you all in the future. Thanks for having me.

Gotta love EMTs!! We have 6 at work for emergency response and they have real jobs too. Hard working and the people you want around if anything happens. You both have my respect.

Hi there Cory and welcome.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, etc. and iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the forum rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

You can download the manual for your iPad here http://help.apple.com/ipad/6/ and here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for iOS 4, 5, 6, etc.

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/ and for iPhone users, come and join in the discussion over at http://www.iphoneforums.net

Well thank you very much for your kind words. My wife and I sure have stumbled across our share of incidents when OFF DUTY. But like I said, I wouldn't want to work with any other EMT or Medic by my side!
