Hot on the heels of the launch last week of NBC’s streaming TV app, 9to5 Mac reports that TNT has now launched its own iPad app, which lets you watch TV shows in their entirety, including the likes of Rizzoli and Isles, The Closer, HawthoRNe, Supernatural and Angel, as well as movies that are shown on the network. The app also features episode guides, behind-the-scenes videos and show clips, as well as schedule reminders and the ability to track your viewing history. You can also sign in to Facebook, Get Glue and Twitter directly from the app. Although the TNT for iPad app is available to download outside of the US, international users will find that the one facility that is not available to them is the ability to watch full episodes, as in order to do so you must first sign in to the app with your TV provider details, and that only includes US TV providers such as Comcast or Direct TV.

Limited viewing depending on provider. I have Time Warner (yea, they suck) but I am stuck with them and the app doesn't work!

It's working well for me with DirecTV here in Seattle, but none of the shows are in HD, which is a shame. All the app features are well designed, though.
