new - how to use webcam on ipad2

Hi, I am Adrienne and I am trying to figure out how to use the webcam on my ipad2 - any suggestions? Thanks in advance and have a great day!

HI There--you mean the camera that is built in to the ipad?

Just click onto the camera app. It will open up and you can slide the camera to video mode. You can video yourself or you can switch the camera around to show what's around you.

Or....are you referring to Facetime?

I just want to live video chat with the ipad2 to a PC. On my PC, I use the webcam function from yahoo instant messenger. I see it on my PC - but not on my ipad. so I am guessing it is not available on the ipad2 - which does not make sense to me. Anyway - how do people webcam on the ipad2 - using skype? Are there any other options for video chatting? when I checked into skype - it looked as if it required an online number - I dont have one and am not interested in purchasing one. Yes, I am totally confused on this issue.

I have used the Skype app on my ipad to skype with my mom on her PC. Very simple-to do. You will need to have an account set up before using it.

Not sure about the other, since I do not use that.

Not at all. Just an email address and set up a password for the account and you are good to go!
