Yep it's my fault I washed my iPhone 5.... Whole cycle on hot! I know. I'm a Muppet. The rice trick not working so now I'm waiting for a new phone via insurance that cost me more to replace than to purchase initially. In the interim I've come to find that everything else Apple in my life is not working either! Ipad. Icloud and even my new touch screen computer is more hassle than its worth. Honestly ready to trash them all and buy a dumb phone, address book, pencils and paper. Might even dust off the old calculator. Once I calm down a bit and can find a few extra hours to spend on the phone with the nice guy at Apple, I might be able to get my ipad to stop timing out and actually send the mail that's backing up in my outbox. Then we can hopefully find which cloud is holding all my pictures, notes and data. Though its looking more like my routine back ups have been disappearing into the clouds rather then being stored. Really shaken all the confidence I have invested in the newest technology. Not money well spent at this point. What was supposed to make life easier is now making life a living furnace. Nice though to meet you!

Nice to meet you too, apparently someone obviously not happy with technology, if that is what "ticked" means. And welcome to our forum which, maybe not surprising, is populated with people who love their iPads, love to talk about them here, and are nowhere near trashing them. So much so that you will find a number of members here who will be happily willing to help with any problems you may perceive, or actually have, with your iPad. Just be specific, with one at a time questions clearly stated, and the helpful responses you will get may surprise you.
Again, a warm welcome and we hope you will enjoy our forum:)

Thanks OB and SharonR. I've calmed now and pretty pleased. My new phone arrived in less than 24 hours. Even impressed they upgraded it with the newer version 5S. Though AT&T store wasn't much help in restoring my lost data, Apple Care and one wonderful rep by the name of Jason found the cloud that had possession of all my data. So light at the end of my rainbow as my pictures are continuing to download now and my work notes are right where they should be. Whew.... I will definitely be back to check out solutions for a few of my other issues, but I now have hope that I can eventually sync my giga bites

Lol. Ticked might be a little too generational but you got the point. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll be back to glean some of the wisdom found here.
