My iPad Pro went belly up!

My first generation iPad Pro refused to boot the other day, stuck on the Apple logo. After a bit of research, I downloaded Reiboot and ran it. Couldn't recover or restore. Local computer shop has it now. They couldn't recover or restore either. (Probably ran Reiboot!)

So I seem to have a bricked device. Guess I'll have to spring for a new one. Does anyone know if I can get an allowance from Apple for the old one? The computer shop still has my old one so I can't provide Apple with a serial number to ask them!

If you still have the box the iPad came in it will have the serial number on the back of the box.

When you get it back from the computer shop, take it to an Apple Store Genius Bar for a free diagnostic if you are close enough.
