My ipad 2will not charge when connected to USB port on PC . However it will synch. It will also charge when connected to MacBook . Can anyone help ?

Happened on my laptop too. I googled it and found it was something to do with the power output being too low on a standard USB port. There is a free program called ASUS AI charger that you can install to solve the problem. Worked for me on my PC and two laptops.
