I'm new in ipad and i have a questions:

can i design a screen with multiple tables ?

something like that:

table1 | table 2
column 1 in table 1 | column 1 in table 2
column 2 in table 1 | column 2 in table 2
column 3 in table 1 | column 3 in table 2
column 4 in table 1 | column 4 in table 2
column 5 in table 1 | column 5 in table 2

yes

are you trying to have to seperate table views that scroll independantly? if not you may just want to create one table view but have multiple columns.

Do a google search for Table View Multi Column and you will find a ton of tutorials.

They even have video tutorials on youtube.


You also may want to stop by a local Barns & Noble or something and pick up the book Beginning iPHONE DEVELOPMENT.

I created my own multi column table component which handles different row heights for different columns. Unfortunately it's not ready to be published, so you can try to do it yourself. It's not very hard.
