Is there any way of highlighting full pages of photographs for deletion. Just noticed my granddaughter decided to take 500+ photographs :( in photo booth. Deleting them one by one is a pain.

In the Photo app, be inside the album that has all the pictures you want to delete (the thumbnail view). Press the curvy arrow in the upper right. Then, press on every picture you wish to delete (you should see a check mark). Once you have selected the photos, in the upper left should be a red button titled "Delete." Press that (I think you get a "are you sure?" notice) and then you are done.

Yes, still a bit of a pain to select them, but faster than going one-by-one in picture view.

Hope this helps. Do let us know how you get on.

Get the grandkid to delete them. A two-fer: You won't have to do it, and the grandkid might have second thoughts about taking another 500 next time, lol.

You can also try this trick.

When you are in thumbnail view, select the Action icon (box and arrow) then, tap and hold on one photo with two fingers (a little over second works) then drag across the other photos you want to select. It works very well for selecting a single row, but sometimes has problems when you drag up or down.

I recently (yesterday) deleted about a hundred photos out of Photo Stream using a combination of this and the usual tap to select (depending on groupings of photos). Took about 5 minutes. Still not fast, but better than nothing.

Hint. Deleting every two or three screens means you wont' have to go back to the beginning if something goes wrong.

What a great tip! Just tried it and it really works fantastic! Hope the OP checks back.
