Hi,
This is the first forum I have ever joined so it's all a bit new, please forgive the early errors. I just acquired an ipad 2 which at first cut seems a great tool, though the more I use it the more frustrated I get!
For example, the photo app has some useful features but come to find out today, ipad uploads photos frm my PC based on date and time taken. It does not allow for re arranging photos in the ipad albums as I would want them which seems a pretty basic function to me. Apple have not been much help other than asking me to register my feedback - I sure have !
Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be great, maybe I just have to find another app?

There are many threads discussing photo apps so hopefully a search of the forum will provide you with the answers that you need.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. Regarding your issue, there are limitations with what you can do in the photos app. You can put photos into a main folder and also have sub folders on your pc and these will sync to your iPad.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.

Most people who want more organizing function that offered by the native Photo app use a third party app. The most popular (most mentioned anyway) are Photo Manager Pro, Photo-Sort, and Photo Shack Pro.

Read up on them, and also search the forum form more apps and opinions on them. The custom Google search bar at the top of the website is a great tool.
