Movies from PC to iTunes

Trying to add a movie ot two from my PC to itunes. How is this done? Tried adding a playlist or just a file and nothing happens.

Just drag the movie into the iTunes window. If it's compatible it will add it.

Alternately you can go to the File menu, choose Add To Library, navigate to the folder containing the movies, select them and choose Open. If the format is incompatible it should tell you.
