Monitoring New iPad (iPad 3) temperature

I am looking for an app that will show the current operating temperature of my iPad 3. I have seen apps for power consumption, but not temperature. Any suggestions?

New iPad
64 GB
Retina display
Wi-FI
IOS 6

There isn't just one temp for an iPad. If you get hot due to use, the temp will be much higher near the CPU/gpu and much lower in other places. Most computers are the same way, too.

I thought I had seen an app containing the monitoring of various things about the iPad, including temperature, but do not recall wherefrom. Perhaps I am wrong.
