Microphone Question

Hello,

I'm not really sure, but it seems that my microphone is muffled whenever I play back a recording. Does anyone else seem to have this problem? If there is a problem what did you do about it?

Is the microphone covered in anyway whilst recording? Could be the type of case being used, or finger/thumb over it during recording. Alternatively some sort of foreign matter in the microphone.

As it turned out, I took it over to the Apple store and the microphone was broken. They ended up giving me a new iPad Air.
