Locked screen

I all , my son has been messing around with my iPad and now the screen is set and will not rotate. I have removed the tick in lock screen , but it still shows a padlock with arrow in the corner by the battery . How do I get this back to normal.

the side switch lock would be in 'lock' position (downwards) when you changed the setting. Push the switch upwards, then press the 'Lock Rotation' and then 'Mute' again in Settings. The padlock with arrow symbol will go away.
