lock a single app

my cuestión is if some how i can hide a app from my home scrime, or if, it's any aplication for it...?

Hi there and welcome.

If you have a jail broken iPad you can hide apps but if it's stock then normal apps can't be hidden, you could try to disguise them by putting them in a folder or on a different home screen but that's about it I'm afraid.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you want to move it from the 'home' screen ( I presume you mean the first page), then hold down the app for a few seconds (until it starts 'jiggling' then press and drag to the side of the screen, which will open a second page. If you want to put it in a folder, do the same but overlay it on top of another app to create a folder. Both apps go in to the folder, and you can rename the folder to whatever you want. If you want the other app out of the folder, get the jiggle activated and drag it out. Folders can Be moved in the same way. Hope this helps.

If you just don't want the app anymore, jiggle it, then the option to delete appears. You can always redownload it when you want, by returning to the app store and finding it in your Purchased folder.

No real disadvantages, you can jailbreak without adding tweaks and apart from the Cydia App icon you wouldn't know it was any different.

Now there are a few apps which can tell if you are Jailbroken and not function but as I understand it they are few and far between.

If you don't like the jailbreak you can always restore your iPad to the way it was before and no one, not even Apple can tell that is been jailbroken.
