am thinking of getting Ipad 3 and endevouring to obtain information from all sources

Remember, search is your friend. Warm welcome to the forum from Australia. Plenty of info here from people willing to help. My wife and I were in the Llandudno region a few years ago on a motoring tour. Lovely area. Made even better when we learned the sign "Toiledau" I have an Ipad3 and enjoy it very much!
