Loading a file on iPad 2 help

I just got my iPad 2 about a week ago and i can't put this thing down at all. I would like to load my resume and cover letter on my iPad for emailing purposes. Is this possible? If so could some guide me through this process, thanks in advance!

You'll need an app on the iPad that can handle the document format that your resume is in. Is it PDF or Word format?
