I am trying to use my iPad to make a presentation with keynote. I was able to connect and show the presentation at the office, but the projection system in the classroom doesn't want to recognize Keynote. It does recognize another application, iThoughtHD. Are there any special settings I need to adjust to get Keynote to play?

I recently lectured using Keynote from my MacPro. Unfortunately, I did not know to sync the outgoing resolution to the projector at the hotel. So, I saw my slides perfectly and the audience saw an awful presentation. SO, how do you connect the Ipad to a projector differently than a computer? Did you change the appearance of your Ipad to match the projector or you saw nothing at all? Thanks. Dr. Mark Cohen

Dr. Mark, I finally was able to connect with the projector and make my presentation with Keynote for iPad. I made the connection, turned on the iPad, went to Keynote and waited until the projector recognized the iPad. It may take a minute to achieve recognition. There was no special setting. Also, with one projection set up the connection was fast and easy, but with the other I struggled a bit to get a tight hookup between the projector cord and the iPad connector. Hope this helps.
