Is there an app that allows for mobile messaginge?

I'm looking to be able to talk to a person on their phone. I'm in Canada and their provider is: Telus. Is it possible to talk to them on their phone and have them reply back to me on the iPad or iPod? Is there an app for that?

Several apps do that, if you mean SMS. If you mean talk on phone then whistle phone will do that, and at least one other. But you need to be a little clearer as to what you are trying to do: the subject says "mobile messaging" and then you say you want to be able to "talk." Two different things.
