FYI

I just confirmed that the IPAD will not connect to a Cisco ASA when the group name contains a dash ( - ) such as IPAD-2. Change this to IPAD and it works fine.

It will error out with "The VPN Secret is incorrect." even though the password is fine. The problem is the Group Name with the dash in it.

I confirmed this on my Cisco 5505 ASA with firmware 8.2.(1)

Yes, but who wants to change all 16,000 VPN users, just to connect IPAD's.
I think a new Group Name for IPAD's may be in order here.
Or a fix from Apple.

submit the issue to apple so that they look into it.
