i have the new ipad (ipad3) connecting to a cisco ASA vpn router via Ipsec.
i have my idle time set at 30 minutes, but whenever i connect my ipad to VPN, idle for 7 minutes or so, and then go into Mail to check MS outlook (running Exchange 2007), vpn connection drops. I then reconnect to VPN and go directly into Mail and the ipad checks my mail. If i don't constantly connect to check for mail, VPN drops after a few minutes.
seems like mail/outlook on the ipad is dropping my vpn connection.
has anyone had this problem?
