iPad users' router experience

I'm trying to choose a wireless router for my new iPad 2, and getting more & more confused. Please help - Will your iPad connect well to a router in another room?What's the maximum range from router at which your iPad gets a good connection?Your router make & model?Your satisfaction rating for the router 1-10, 10 = excellent?Is TalkTalk your isp?Thank you.

I have an ASUS RT-N56U Router and have no issues with it with our iPad2. Range - don't know exactly, but better than my old Linksys router. Excellent stability/reliability. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say 9 (nobody's perfect!).
