iPad turns off

Hi all can someone help please, my iPad keeps turning itself off after a short , it goes dim and then of it goes and I have to start up again.
It's a bit infuriating when I am reading an audio book as you can guess.
It might be one of the iPad settings but I can't find it so I hope you can tell me please.

If the screen locks too early, go to Settings - General - Auto-Lock. You can set the time until the iPad locks from 2 minutes up to "Never".
