last week I had 17 GB free, today I have 5. I connected to itunes and it shows that "other" is taking up 12.6GB. Is there a way for me to determine what exactly that is composed of and what exactly is taking up so much space?
One method to reclaim some of this 'Other' space is to reboot the iPad. With the iPad switched off press and hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until the white Apple logo appears - it can take quite a time, perhaps 20 seconds, so be patient - and the iPad will reboot. That, too, takes a while but, hopefully, when the reboot has finished most of that 'Other' will have been reclaimed.
Yeah I tried that, but it only decreased to 12.5GB. But I found a solution, I just backed up my data and updated to 4.3.3 and it corrected itself, its now back down to .97GB. Thanks
