Hi all,
For the past week week or so, my wife’s Air2 has been showing 1000 sent e mails. Have no idea why??
There’s nothing in the sent file. Would probably take her two years to send 1000 e-mails anyway.
Re-booting dose nothing.
It’s IOS 12.1.1 and has been since it came out.
Thanks all and Happy New Year........we hope!!

Is this in the native iOS Mail app? A couple of screenshots showing exactly what you mean would probably help someone get to the bottom of this.

You could try deleting the email account and setting it up again.

Delete the e-mail account? There are several accounts but only one “All sent” file on any IPAD which, in this case, says1000 scifan57 and it’s empty.

JezzerP. It’s the regular old “All sent” file that probably every IPAD has and always had which says 1000 for some bizarre reason and is empty.
All a screen shot would do is show a “1000” in the “All sent” file. Nothing special about it.

Thanks for the comments!! Ken

The „All Sent“ mailbox depends on your choice. Not everyone uses this feature on an iDevice. I prefer viewing the Inboxes of my email accounts separately, just as an example.

However, the „All Sent“ mailbox usually shows sent emails of all the email accounts set up on an iPad. So it might be a good idea to remove the accounts, one by one, to see which one causes the problem, and set them up again afterwards.

A slightly less „invasive“ method would be to go Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts, select the accounts and disable Mail, wait for a while and enable it again.

If that doesn‘t help, force close the app, delete the app and install it again, and/or restart your device.
