I have the latest iPad Pro. I purchased a usb hub that plugs into my charging port…BUT…(theres always a but), because of the case I have protecting my iPad, I need an extension cable that will go into my charging port and allow me to plug the hub into the other end of the cable…I’ve looked and it’s very confusing to decide what I should get. I already ordered one, and, of course, was wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable from Apple.

Thanks for your reply. I just looked at the cable you mentioned, but I think it may not be the right one. Here is a photo of what I want to plug into my iPad Pro. We’re my case is thick, it won’t plug in. So I’m thinking I need some sort of extension cord/cable.

The case is a Unicorn Beetle. I could take it apart, but it’s a pain to do so. It’s two pieces that fits together.

Are you sure you have the correct size case for your particular iPad Pro? (Or iPhone even). Unicorn Beetle cases are built to accommodate charging cables.

Yes. The case is for an iPad Pro. Here are a couple of photos to show how thick the case is.

Yes, i see. I wonder if it would be worth contacting the manufacturer direct to see what they suggest and to point out the difficulty you are encountering.

A USB-C to USB-C extension cable or coupler should do the job. A search of Amazon will show a multitude of choices. Just make sure that one end is female USB-C and the other is male USB-C.

Be preference, pick a recognizable brand. Don't be fooled by the cheapest junk in the store.
