I dont own a home theatre, just an audio amp. My Ipad connects beautifully to the TV and runds MP4 videos with lyrics. Now how do I get a mike for the singalongs ? Dont want karaoke because the background vocals on mp4s help voice training for learners.

Can you connect a mike as well as the IPAD to the TV ?
will they both work at the same time ?
i.e the Ipad can play the music videos and the mike can be used to sing along ? I dont have an amp that connects to the TV. So it would have to be connected direct to the TV. Will I need a karaoke amp for both the devices to work ?
