I tried updating my iPad a couple of months ago to iOS6 but during the update process, the screen went black and the iPad won't turn on. When I enter DFU mode iTunes does recognize it and when I click on Restore... it downloads the latest firmware and extracts it, but as soon as the update on the iPad starts, the apple logo appears on the iPad for a split second before disappearing; and then the error message comes up. After researching I have half-concluded that it's a corrupted NAND chip? Is there anyway to fix my iPad because it's out of warranty and Apple are charging me over $300 to fix it.
Thank You.
